I come from an artistic family.   I remember my mother painting when I was a little girl.  I have been sketching as long as I can remember.   I first took painting lessons in 1973 and have been painting ever since.  I painted folk art in oils and acrylic until I bought a set of watercolors in 1990.  I really enjoy both folk art and fine art.  watercolor is my favorite medium.  I love the process of painting as much as I enjoy the finished product.  My artwork makes people smile and I love seeing that reaction.
